Luke DelGobbo

This kid is good.

He's the Junior Niagara Champion of Champions,

Niagara Junior Tour Champion,

and our very own Junior Club Champion.

He's also playing at Augusta National the week of the Masters.

We sat down to speak with our Head Professional, JJ Alexander, about the first time he met Luke.

"I first met Luke DelGobbo in the Fall of 2015. One evening after hitting balls until dark, Luke asked if I would like to help with his game. I replied by asking him what he hopes to get out of taking lessons."
"Most Juniors his age want to learn to hit the ball a mile - not Luke. Luke confidently looked me in the eye and said he wanted to learn to chip and putt better than anyone else. It was at that moment that I knew Luke had that 'it' factor."

Fast forward two years and Luke has grown to be one of the best young golfers in the area. In addition to all of his accomplishments this year, Luke has qualified for the finals of the Drive, Chip, and Putt Championship at Augusta National.

This April 1st, Luke will be competing at Augusta National

"All of us who have had the opportunity to get to meet Luke these past few years are better people for knowing him.
I can't count how many times people have gone out of their way to approach me, call me, or send me an e-mail, telling me how much they enjoyed playing golf, hanging out at the range, or testing their putting stroke on 'his' putting green.
Luke's family deserves so much credit for raising such a fine young man."

Luke, from all of us at Lookout, best of luck at Augusta on Sunday, April 1st.

We are all very excited to see where your talent takes you in the coming years.
